Design at the speed of code: command palette, panes, hotkeys and real CSS in one workspace.

Smart Waste

Smart Waste is a marketplace that connects construction and industrial clients directly with vetted waste haulers and recyclers, no middlemen involved. For its public launch we built a suite of real-time CG visuals — from the browser to a 20-metre stage screen and the venue's outdoor media facade.

ServicesReal-time particle CG, motion design and render engineering for a product launch — browser-based hero visuals, the live stage show, and the outdoor media facade.

Curl noise

For the launch and its promo materials we built several browser-based particle simulations driven by curl noise — a vector field derived from Perlin noise, originally devised to depict turbulence.

Every frame, each particle shifts along a vector proportional to the curl noise value at its current position. A particle lives for a short while, then respawns — a constant churn of motion with no fixed center to orbit.

Particles can also slip into a calmer state: instead of drifting freely, they settle around specific target shapes sampled from a triangular mesh, each pulled toward its own point by an indexed texture. Once enough of them land in place, a recognisable cloud silhouette of the source model emerges.

Render pipeline

The renderer runs a deferred pipeline — geometry first, then material and lighting passes — with real-time GTAO, motion blur, bloom and TAA layered on top for a cinematic finish, straight out of the browser.

On stage

The same particle system carried the show beyond the browser: a live countdown and a globe built from thousands of instanced cubes, rendered out for the auditorium's stage screen and the venue's outdoor media facade.

Result

The team ran browser-based real-time graphics on a full auditorium screen and a giant outdoor media facade for the first time — some of the renders even made it onto the event's own merch.
